What Is a WDI Inspection?

A Wood Destroying Insect inspection is a visual inspection of readily accessible areas of the property for evidence of insects that can damage wood and wood-based building materials.

Termites are one of the primary wood-destroying insects encountered in our region, but a WDI inspection is broader and looks for visible evidence of applicable wood-destroying insects and related damage.

Can you tell if termites are inside a finished wall?

A WDI inspection is primarily visual and limited to readily accessible areas. Conditions concealed behind walls, ceilings, insulation, flooring and other finishes generally cannot be directly inspected. and related damage.
